IREEM Conducts GEDSI Training to Foster a Fair and Inclusive Organizational Culture
July 4, 2025 – In an effort to ensure that everyone regardless of gender, background, identity, or disability has equal access to resources, opportunities, and benefits in all aspects, IREEM is committed to promoting the participation and leadership of women, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups in the energy efficiency sector workforce through the implementation of GEDSI (Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion) principles.
GEDSI is an approach aimed at ensuring that all individuals, including those with disabilities, have fair opportunities to access resources, services, and decision-making processes. As a concrete manifestation of this commitment, IREEM recently conducted an introductory GEDSI training facilitated by Ms. Anny Andaryati, a GEDSI expert. This training serves as an important foundation for IREEM in building a more inclusive, equitable, and fair organizational culture.

By integrating GEDSI principles, IREEM strives to create a work environment that is more inclusive, diverse, welcoming, and equality driven. This is expected not only to strengthen workplace relationships but also to enhance organizational performance, creativity, and innovation.
Through this training, IREEM reaffirms its commitment to supporting inclusive sustainable development, ensuring that no group is left behind. In doing so, the transition to clean energy and improved environmental management can be realized in a fair, equitable, and truly beneficial way for all.
